Use of ROUPAY Card Services may involve financial, operational, technological, regulatory and third-party risks. Users should understand applicable terms, fees, limits and supported jurisdictions before using the services.
2. Transaction and Availability Risk
Payment transactions may be declined, reversed, suspended or restricted in circumstances described in the Terms, including insufficient funds, account restrictions, card limits, suspected fraud or compliance reasons.
3. Card Issuer and Third-Party Risk
Cards are issued by a Card Issuer and may depend on third-party service providers. The Card Issuer may cancel, revoke, repossess or restrict use of a Card.
4. Fees and Limits
Service fees may apply to card issuance, currency exchange and payment transactions. Card usage limits and fees may be updated from time to time in accordance with the Terms.
5. Security Risk
Cardholders are responsible for safeguarding the Card and Means of Authentication and for promptly reporting loss, theft, leakage or unauthorised use.
6. Compliance and Regulatory Risk
ROUPAY may request identity, transaction or supporting information to meet anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing obligations and may restrict or refuse transactions where required.
7. Digital Asset Risk
Where Card Services are funded with digital assets, users should consider market, network, liquidity and transfer risks. Supported assets or networks may change.
8. Service Availability
Service access may be affected by maintenance, technical issues, third-party systems, card networks, compliance checks or events beyond ROUPAY's direct control.
